BRUCE HALL
M. Bruce Hall
moved to Portland in 1992. He has been a photographer since
the mid to late 70’s when he discovered it’s
potential while studying art at the University of Houston
in Texas. Since then he has obsessively used it to document
the life and culture around him and as a way to stay sane
in a world that increasingly seems bent on self
destruction. His current major project is photographing the
people and culture of Mexico which he views as a sort of
antidote to life in the US. He lives with his cat Pekoe and
enjoys surfing whenever he can. He joined the Grid Project
in 2005.
